Humans of Dubai is a project as a part of my MYP personal project.
My goal here is to photograph the residents of the UAE, who have left their own country and loved ones behind to make a living here. This blog provides the audience a look at the variety of inhabitants of the UAE.
UAE has managed to create an atmosphere of inclusiveness, a culture of openness, which is unique and hard to find anywhere else.
Visitors to UAE have a misconception that it is a soul-less place. I can confidently say that this is just a myth. Most of the population here is made up of expatriates from all over the globe. In a day, you will meet at least five different nationalities, from Indian to Spanish, Afghani to African, British to Thai. It’s a mixed cocktail of different cultures living together in perfect harmony.
There is more to the UAE, than skyscrapers and shopping malls.
The main focus of this blog is to showcase the people and not my photography skills, which I did try to learn.
